The Luther Bibel (LB) is a translation of the Bible from Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek into the German (originally Early High German). Martin Luther made the translation with the help of further theologians (especially Philipp Melanchthon).
The complete Bible was released in 1534. It became the most influential Bible in German language and a landmark in German literature.
