HedgeDict Dictionary

Основна проблема з цим словником: треба завжди копіювати слова з інших програм. Якщо б можна було з браузера напряму викликати переклад (як зроблено в Yandex Translate), то було б просто ідеально. Але загалом справляється на 5 балів.

Cool app. Why does not it change the input method (keyboard) when I change dictionary ( ex. Russian-Deutsch)?

I use it pretty often to read some books in French, and this dictionary has plenty of options to offer, apart from just universal translations, like idioms dictionary or prononciation.

One of best dicts on market (if not the best) when you read foreign books and need not too often, but continuously search words. Especially if you need fix their suffix/prefix to translate correctly.

Searching for "dogs" should return the translation for "dog" if "dogs" is not in the database. Then the app would be perfect.

This is the best dictionary app I have ever used. There are a lot of words and phrases with examples of usage. Special thanks for Favorites. I'd been waiting for it for a long time so I bought an ad-free version as I promised. There is still one bad thing left - annoying delay after every character I type in the search box. Please fix it and it will be absolutely perfect.

It looks the last update up to 5.0.1. has swept away all the bugs of previous 5.0. Good job! Catch your five stars back.

It is very nice and useful dictionary. Especially the latest update made this this dict even better. UI design changes which this update brought are great for making this dict even more usable and functional. Especially for the phones which don't have dedicated menu button. I am 100％ satisfied with this dictionary. P.S.: now I can use voice spelling function. Thanks to all the developpers and testers.

Thanks for your reply to my question. I think I accidentally deleted my original review. I managed to get the menu up by setting long press on recent apps to be menu. Great app, with an excellent selection of dictionaries. Developer is also helpful and quick to answer questions.

The best dictionary I've ever had! But now I can't download English-Russian dictionary because setting button had gone... That's bad....

Those who want to improve English language must have this dictionary in hand.

Pretty decent dictionary. Nevertheless with a recent update I have got into troubles with settings and dictionaries list. Not everybody has menu and window buttons so it's impossible to get to the settings and dictionaries evidently. Please make menu virtual, or give an option to customize it.

I can find here any word and even any phrase I need. Thanks for my precious Hedge. And yes, I adore hedgehogs!

Хороший словарик

использую читалку Alreader совместно со словарем. При вызове словаря из книги разворарачивается клавиатура - и чтобы вернутся назад в книгу приходится делать лишнее действие - сворачивание клавиатуры. Крайне неудобно, при большом количестве незнакомых слов в текстe. Возможно ли реализовать два сценария: при запуске словаря показывать клавиатуру, при вызове из внешнего приложения - скрывать? Еще еще вопрос по словоформам: например: pl, - можно ли сразу искать единственное число?

Did not understand how can I add any dictionary, when application is installed already. I have one dictionary. Want to add more. No option found!

Широкая словарная база. Без ограничений на количество словарей в отличие от бесплатных аналогов. Я бы изменила только отображение перевода. Когда меньше межстрочных пробелов и текст плотнее, шире охват взглядом. Спасибо разработчикам!!! Кстати, тут кто-то спрашивал как добавить словари. Действительно, из приложения не загружаются. Не выходит. Но это не беда. Я скачиваю с сайта и кидаю с компа на телефон в папку HedgeDic

I really would like to see accents or stresses on the stressed syllables for Ukrainian. They are very responsive as well. They got back to me promptly about a question I had.
