About Learn Guitar Notes
Learn Guitar Notes helps you learn what notes lie on the frets of the guitar or bass. It is a useful tool for guitarists of all skill levels and includes a simple tutorial to get you started.
The app learns which parts of the fretboard you know well and focuses on difficult spots by asking you to find a note on the fretboard or to use a piano keyboard to tell what note is being shown. You can always see every note on the fretboard if you need assistance.
You can change the tuning to whatever you like and any instrument using 1 to 6 strings is supported. If you are left handed you will be pleased to know that there is an option to display the fretboard in a way convenient to you.

Learn notes. That's the name of the app. Notes are sounds. This app doesn't play notes. It isn't bad at fretboard position quizzes (accidentals are hard to see though), but it doesn't train on notes.

This app taught me all the notes on the fretboard. Many sources offer that information, but this app was what I needed to actually do the work to learn it. The timer and heat map help make it a game, and I myself to get faster and master the weak spots. What do you have planned for us next Joris? Whatever it is, sign me up

I like it but while finding all the notes I cannot tap the open string without opening the tuning.

No scrolling hassle. No help whatsoever like the real thing. Useful heatmap. The "find a note exercise" should specify a string for more challenge and it would be funnier with sound but it's definitely a win :)

I would give this app 5 out of 5 stars and the reasons why I only gave it 2 is it doesn't have any sound when selecting the notes on the fretboard. It seems like its never ending unless the user decides to give it a break. I thought it would stop and show the user their scores. Anyway, what I'm saying is its a great app just needs some adjustments. Oh, all of a sudden it kept crashing on me. So I uninstalled it then reinstalled it. Didn't work. The app ceashes once the tutorial ends. So I can't use it.

The previous version was a great app. I just updated to latest version 2.0 and it unusable. No Settings option to change between the 3 different modes, and you can't improve your speed if u have to tap status bar every single time. Plus it does not measure your speed over a number of guesses, for example: "100 correct answers with average of 2 seconds". Previuos version was a very good learning tool. This one is a not... Bring back previous version please...

Please bring back the old version. This new version is not playable(not fun at all). Maybe what you could do is make the timer optional. And also you could add sounds to it so we can hear the notes(good for ear training).

This is a good app and I enjoy it.. however I'm uninstalling it because that clock on the app. I'm not sure too many people in the world can find the notes on the fretboard within A Few second's. I can barely even see the note. By the time I recognize where the note is' the clock is done ran out. If This clock gave you more time I would love this app. Maybe the option to make the clock longer would be awesome. . I enjoyed the older version of this app. So much Morel.
