Bhasha Sinhala Dictionary is Sri Lanka's Official Sinhala-English Dictionary app for Android brought to you by Bhasha Lanka (Pvt) Ltd in partnership with Language Technology Research Laboratory, Sri Lanka.
Bhasha Dictionary provides you offline dictionary service for English to Sinhala word translations & online dictionary service for both English to Sinhala & Sinhala to English word translations. Online dictionary also provides you trilingual search results in Sinhala, English & Tamil when available.
In order to use Sinhala to English dictionary you don't need to type in Sinhala, but you can type in Singlish (Sinhala transliterated in English) just as you type SMSs in Sinhala.

* Search English words by Voice or text
* Search Sinhala words by typing in Sinhala or Singlish
* Get Offline English to Sinhala translations
* Get Online Sinhala to English translations
* Get Online English to Sinhala translations with tringual (Sinhala-Tamil-English) search results
* You can prefer whether to download offline dictionary database & you can download it anytime
* You can prefer to use online service or offline service or both
* Recent words are saved & suggested when typing
* You can also maintain a favorite word list
Note: When you have enabled both Online & Offline services, Bhasha Dictionary will first search in Offline database & only if it is failed, it'll search on Online database. However when you translate from Sinhala to English it always search in Online database.
Known Issues: Voice search functionality is not working on some devices specially on Custom ROMs.

Really happy that I downloaded this app. It's awesome. I was so sick of all the Sinhala-English apps I'd downloaded but then I found this! Awesome app. No night reading mode, though. To the developers, can you please make a pure Sinhala dictionary app? Like not Sinhala -English, but Sinhala to Sinhala. That would be bomb.

This is a very good sinhala-english (or english to sinhala, both are okey) dictionary. Very ezy to use and very familiar interface. There are so meny wards in this dictionary and it was very helpful my educational things. Perfect.

Dictionary is very good and has clear meanings of a lot of words in English language. But when I search and select a word in the dictionary, I can't go back even if I pressed a the back button. Please look into this error

There is some problem with it.when we find word 1st time for one day.that gave same meaning for 2nd serch too and its intructed in that time.plz fix this problem. Because it is very usefull and easy dictionary use our daily works

It worked accordingly till the new version. Now it stuck when push back. I tried reinstalling, but result was same. Hope, you would fix it. Till i remains as uninstall. Anyway, i am so grateful for the ease that i had with it.

Application is well designed and user friendly but it crashes 8/10 times when you try to open it. The word suggestions list function seems to be too heavy for the app.

This app seems good but it forcing us to install their helaku keyboard... it could be one of worst stretagy they follow to promote their other useless apps...worse.....
