OCR Plugin

This plugin performs Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on behalf of other applications. It provides the possibility to capture text from printed books and newspapers by pointing the rear camera of your device.
Note: please download this plugin only if you have an application that needs it.

The OCR plugin requires a back camera with autofocus to perform proper OCR functionality. It may need updated Google Play services.

The following applications may use OCR plugin to capture text via camera:
- Online Thesaurus by Livio, version 3.5
- Online Translator by Livio, version 3.5
- Online Dictionary by Livio, version 3.5

Note: this plugin recognizes only Latin Alphabet.

The OCR plugin requires the following permissions:
CAMERA - to capture images for the optical character recognition
