So simple and practical! I've been using 22seven for almost 2 years now, but find SA-BankBox so much easier to set up. What's more, is that it is almost real time with all the data neede already at hand on the phone - No Internet connection needed. Of course there is still a need for those online alternatives that have direct access to your accounts... for those transactions that you do not receive SMS's. Excellent app!! Strongly recommended.

Doesn't work for capitec, and its not like capitec is some small nowhere kind of bank.

Overall great app, but the summary I found cannot be trusted. Some expenses does not get allocated to the category (even after assigning, it still shows as unallocated). Sometimes I also find an expense will only be recognized a day or two after the sms was received

I've got Google hangouts enabled. App does not import any bank notifications. Might be conflict of Google hangouts and my SGS 3 sms app.

Ok-but functionality to delete/edit redundant expense sms, include budget & change mthly cycle dates is essential to make this app 5 star

I have an ABSA account and a CAPITEC account, it only recognizes the ABSA SMS's, please add support

App didn't find any bank sms from Capitec.

It is a very nice application, but ............ It needs a budget for each category and you must be able to add manual income and expenses transactions. If it gets this capability, I would rate it 5 stars.

Its a good way to track and allocate my expenses. It makes me think what I do with my money. A manuel future would be great to track cash expenses. I'm thinking in the line of a 'split' future.

Could have been a nice app. No way of adding information on my own. Long way to go to beat Expenza.

Fail app. Was excited to see this at first until I tried to use it. Cannot add accounts, vendors, nothing. Menu button does nothing when pressed in these pages. Galaxy Note 2.

Awesome app, would be great if you could manually set your account balances from time to time to remove the error margin of small transactions that don't come through on sms

My bank only sends me a txt if a certain threshold is reached. I have a lot of mini transactions throughout the day that are below this threshold. A feature to manually capture expenses would be needed. Otherwise great app, from idea to execution.

A truly ingenious application for keeping track of your income and expenses. Intiutive and user friendly.

Entering into the app from the notification bar bypasses the pin lock on the app making it it vulnerable when there is a notification and it places transactions on the same day in alphabetical order so like today used the atm then my card after it recorded the purchase but the balance is unchanged due to atm being recorded as the latest instead of the second latest. Still a brilliant app, closest you can get like Mint without linking your card. Still happy. Hopefully the balance will correct itself soon.

I am honestly impressed with its simplicity and effective user interface. I have tried other similar apps in the past but this one is definately tops. However, noticed same issue that Michael mentioned on Galaxy Note II) Fix that an will up to 5 stars.

...many, many bugs in the 1.0 release and no updates to the app yet. Doesn't recognise most of the sms's I receive. Great idea, poor execution. Try again, Liquid Edge.
