RunningCadence for Android
Does what it says and doesn't steal your data!
Total inaccurate
Didn't matter if I was walking or sprinting. If my phone was in my pocket, hand, or attached to my arm. Did not work at all.
The interface is good - it just counts your cadence and tells you to speed up or slow down as necessary to meet your target. However, the measurement/calculation of cadence is complete nonsense, which makes it useless in the end. After a while running with it, I stopped listening to it and just focused on maintaining a steady cadence myself. The cadence calculated by the app jumped from 90 to 190 to 110 to whatever, while I maintained a steady running pace. So, it needs some real programming work before its usable.
I was hoping for a metronome to match my steps with. Instead it's a voice reminder when you're going to fast or slow.
Just what I was looking for. No fancy looks, does the job well.
It tells you once in a while if you're on your set target cadence or not. It's not an annoying ticking in your ear. Only drawback is that it doesn't keep record of your "result"
Needs to be able to record session and show in a graph so you can track your progress and so you can run it in the background and view later
As simple as it is, the app just do it work, wery well.
More features would be nice but this app works well and for now is the only cadence monitor i can find on android.
Worthless

Inaccurate measurements. It is also ridiculous to work only for phones strapped to arm. It doesn't work in my waist pouch
