Best Coffee for Android
I paid for the full version of this, now you have changed the name and want a subscription instead. My purchase should cover this anyway. It was only just worth the price of a one time fee, no way am I paying a subscription.
I couldn't sign up once downloading, frequent "network error" messages despite bring on Wi-Fi and having great signal.
Great app
The old app shows several places near me. Those same places don't appear on the map in the new app, but are listed if you search for them by name. More than happy to pay to support content upkeep and app development but this seems like a step backwards. Disappointing.
Excited that I'll be able to have ONE coffee app as I travel. Some polish on this one so hopefully it will be well looked after and maintained as some of the other ones I've tried have a lot of cruft from days gone by.
I swear I didn't used to need an account for this. Not interested Edit: ended up creating an account, it took two goes for the Google integration to work right. Once it worked, it crashed after looking at the map for about 20 seconds. Helped me locate the one coffee shop or forgotten the name of though, so it served it's purpose I guess ????
All in one app about where to find good coffee place. Easy to use and tells you distance and you can filter using your own preference. Great App
Amazing detail. Looking forward to the addition of more cities!
Used to be great. With the latest update, the roastery down the road has been removed (even though it has a cafe and the brews are mentioned at several of the included cafes in the app). Where have the roasteries gone?? Don't like the new design. Also unclear what the premium features are? Also laggy as hell on a Pixel and WiFi. Gotten worse since previous editions. Started looking at competitors
I loved this very much, but since I installed it on my new phone (Oneplus One with Abdroid 5.1/Exodus ROM - no other problems whatsoever) I can't use it anymore, it always crashes at start-up. I can just about see the menu bar before it goes. Help! UPDATE 14/08/15: it works now, thanks for the fix! Back to 5 stars :)
Love this app in theory, but the only way to update it with new coffee shops is to uninstall and reinstall. As I'm using it to find new coffee shops, I really need live updates. Bit of a functionality killer for me.
Liked this app but now new version wants extra permissions. Why do you need access to my device ID and call history? Seems invasive.
looks like the developers have abandoned this app
Perfect way to find a great coffee spot near you
If it's in this guide they do great coffee.
So much great coffee
May be a useful app if you're new to london, but mostly quite out of date. Lots of great new places missed, and lots of bad or closed old places included. Iphone version is completely different.
Was getting tired of how it was becoming more and more out of date, phone broke - couldn't be bothered to reinstall... Finally did and to my surprise it has been completely updated!! Very excited to see all these new cafes listed now. This app is a key interactive map for anyone exploring the rich world of coffee in London! A great excuse to see different parts of the city too.
Great idea and now updated regularly! Few odd omissions (I think) but basically superb!
All of a sudden stopped working, nothing shows up, has support stopped!?
Why has this paid app not had an update since January 2015?
If you like independent coffee shops and live / work in London this is a great app.
This is great! Has all the big reputation places plus lots of less well known options that would be worth checking out. Love the 'nearest' list, which enables you to simply head for whichever place close by takes your fancy, with minimal effort! Scored it a 5* because it's very comprehensive, nicely crafted, allows reviews from real customers (not just coffee geeks!) and represents great value.
If you are new to gourmet coffee, or an old (twitching) hand, this is the tool to guide you past the chains and into the cafes of magic. Only good for London obviously but the app is updated regularly to reflect the growing scene. If you need coffee outside M25 then there is an app called Liquid Gold.

Great idea, but no new cafes for months! I contacted the guy who runs BlueCrow, but still nothing. This is the problem with curated maps... they're labour intensive and need a lot of maintenance.
great app - but it keeps crashing now, and it's turning me into a disorientated coffee addict
Nothing appears in the cafes section - every tab is blank. I'm using an Xperia z3 compact with lollipop.
I used this app for a while on my Samsung S5, put up with a few faults but now it just constantly crashes. Where you I get my money back?
As a curated app, you know that the places included in London's Best Coffee are there purely on merit. This is my go-to app when I'm looking for good coffee in London and I recommend it to anyone looking to support independent, quality coffee shops in London.
I use this app all the time
All of a sudden stopped working, nothing shows up, has support stopped!?
Great. Except that if I'm browsing shops then switch apps, the map zooms back to the default view and I have to start over. Can this be tweaked in the next update?
Very nice, easy to use app. I'd like a way of making notes and submitting changes as there are new places not listed and map references that need correcting but this is infinitely better than googling 'decent coffee near me'.
Great app, but somehow I can't find many of my favourite spots. All of them are on the free Beanfinder and in the paper version of the London Coffee Guide. That's quite strange..

Has a good list of coffee places, but could really do with info on Wi-Fi, power points, and the ability to search by opening hours and Wi-Fi etc.

Great idea but not up to date and no way to submit your own coffee shops for rating. Refund please.
