lBochs PC Emulator

Works a lot better than other vm tools that I used but for some reason even after changing settings, the CPU is locked at 15 mips. Edit: Realized that is because of my phone's hardware limitations.

If i tap second hard drive it crashes:/ I GOT IT TO WORK THO!:)lol I really love this emulator its fast i like the update this app better then limbo bochs im useing a note 5 old now but still a good phone ha

Too confusing

It took nearly an hour, but I was finally able to get to the windows 7 install screen. I quit and called it a night. Proof of concept type thing, sure, it can be done, but it is not by any means practical.

It would be 5 stars if you could make the hard drive size limit higher. Windows 7 won't install because it needs 8gb minimum hard drive size. 16gb would be better.

Can you please tell me how did you get to the install screen of windows 7, I am trying the same and I am about to give up because windows 7 takes 60gb.

I got 2 questions. 1: can this app emulate space shuttle atlantis fsx? 2: is SHA FSX available to download on Android? I downloaded a zip file of SHA FSX. Will it work here? I hope it does, love the space shuttle program and I haven't enjoyed the launch sequence on PC or elsewhere. Can't afford a PC, that's why I wrote this.

to all those that whine about this bochs .... first of all know your tech and dont be careless !!!! .. everything about this bochs is faster and better in everyway i love the mouse emulation it to is much better it doesn't glitch all over now what i installed was win98se voodoo 1 with 3dfx tools and 3dfx overclock applet and rain 2.0 it doubled my m3d diamond to 8mb with iceman voodoo 3dfx accelerator i was able to play test drive 5 and dirt track racing and powerslide almost full speed and was playable .THANKS LUIGI B YOUR THE BEST

Best PC emulator/virtualizer on any mobile platform. Those who think this is a toy forgot that an equivalent PC compatible computer was the standard in the late 1990s - early 21st century. Windows 98 ran at least 80% of all computers and people were as productive as they are today. Lbochs puts that machine inside your phone/tablet with the same performance you got from the systems of that era. On a 1.5 GHZ device Windows 98 SE boots in one minute flat (as fast as the old days). Everything works like a charm (true color graphics, sound blaster 16, networking, vvfat drive etc...) even better than the original bochs. However, the best part is the interface. It really is a masterful piece of software engineering and UI design. The track pad is smooth, fast and responsive. The integrated keyboard is a fully functional replica of the venerable 101 key keyboard. Surprisingly a user easily reach any key even on a 6 inch screen. Many productive applications of that time such as Microsoft office 2000, Adobe Photoshop 8, Corel Draw 5, Delphi enterprise 4, Python 2.3 work without a flaw. The only minor drawback I could find is the use of the 'menu' key to access the settings. That function has been deprecated for a while and is no longer available on newer devices and Android versions. Since accessing these settings is a must maybe the time has come to dedicate an integrated button for this function just like the left and right mouse button. Even if that button resides only in landscape mode where there is ample space to accommodate it this will be a big improvement. Congratulation and thank you for an outstanding job.

If you are a computer nerd, this app is a must-have.

when running the Win98 VM before this new 1.6 update, ran with ram at 2000mb. however, now windows 98 is saying my device doesnt have 16mb. then i messed with configs to try and solve it, but all i found led me to believe that possibly the memory has been switched from mb to bytes.

Somehow, the app just randomly stopped crashing on rotate! No idea why, but at least it's fixed. Again, thanks for the help. What is "slowdown extended"? It's not in the Bochs manual, so I assume it is lBochs-specific? Awesome app, only had a few problems, and the dev is responsive and helpful. Does require some experience or knowledge, but is very good if you know how to use it.

I wish there was more documentation specifically for the app, but once I figured it out... worked great!!

better now cpu change is fixed (what does slwdwn extended do in syn ??).... but I love it

How do you operate an OS here?

Great app! It works as well as it can be expected from an emulator. There is an hiccup for me, however... After I close the app and try to start it again it crashes. A device reboot is required to get it to work again. Any thoughts on that? I'm running Android 6.0.1 on Lenovo YogaBook.

I need help.. I've installed windows 7 but can't use it as it's saying I only have 256mb but my phone has 4gb ram. Help

It's interesting, but getting past the first screen isn't easy, and I still haven't.

It works better then Limbo and faster. I can access a drive image on my external sd card. I have win95 booting and running with some old dos and windows games. Fun!

This app is great. I really like the interfaces. The developer is responsive as well. I'd like to maybe see stronger network support but overall this is really nice.

even tinycore is super slow, so it won't be of any use...still impressive...how do I create my bootable hard drive? and why isn't the iso decompressing handled natively (not emulated)?
