Sõber Karu - tööriist vanemale

Sõber Karu äpp on Lastekaitse Liidu ja Wise Estonia OÜ koostöös valminud tööriist lapsevanemale, mis suunab lapsega veedetud aega paremini planeerima ja täisväärtuslikult kasutama.

Sõber Karu on kiusamist ennetava metoodika „Kiusamisest vabaks!“ sümbol, mille abil õpetatakse lasteaedades ja koolides lastele nelja põhiväärtust – sallivust, hoolivust, austust ja julgust – ning arendatakse nende sotsiaalseid oskusi. Ta on kõigi laste ühine sõber ja hea kaaslane. Et kõigil metoodilistel vahenditel on tema kujutis, on tegemist tugevat sõnumit kandva tuttava tegelasega, kelle abil kõnetada nii lapsi kui ka vanemaid. Metoodika on juba kasutusel 439 Eesti lasteaias ja 81 koolis.

Kuna lastele sotsiaalsete suhete õpetamise eest vastutavad nii õpetajad kui vanemad, on oluline tõsta vanemate teadlikkust ning suunata neid lastega järjepidevamalt ja teadlikumalt tegelema.

Mobiilirakendus on mitmekesine ning sisaldab nii artikleid, videoloenguid kui ka praktilisi ideid lapsega koos aja sisukaks veetmiseks.

Projekt on rahastatud Euroopa Majanduspiirkonna (EMP) toetuste programmi „Riskilapsed ja –noored“ avatud taotlusvoorust „Kaasamine ja sekkumised haridussüsteemis“. Programmi viivad üheskoos ellu Haridus- ja Teadusministeerium, Justiitsministeerium ja Sotsiaalministeerium. Programmi rakendusüksuseks on Eesti Noorsootöö Keskus ning partneriks Norra Kohalike Omavalitsuste ja Regionaalsete Omavalitsuste Liit. When and how much you actually spend time with their children?
