There are two parts to this app. First, the programming the author does. I do suggest giving feedback. That's the best way to improve it. Secondly, is the information the app is able to get from the state system. There are currently many limitations as far as what data is supplied and how often its updated. Keep up the good work....

Who is running the show at ODOT?? Updates would be nice. Last update on road conditions is 8 am, it is now almost 2 pm and snow is flying! Camera views and road conditions don't match up. Truckers depend on up-to- date information and this app fails regularly to display current information on chain restrictions and road conditions.

As a truck driver, this app is very helpful in my trip planning. The Cams usually show the temp as well as current road conditions. It also show me if and where I will need to chain up in the winter time. I recommend this app to everyone who lives in or travels through OR regularly.

Unlike every other app which just goes and tries to use networking, this one actively checks whether WiFi is connected and refuses to run otherwise. This means it does not even start when tethered, hard to believe for a "road" app.

Used to be able to see lists of highways. When I'm driving from Albany to bend and click on the app, i don't care to see what's happening in Portland. Can't this program remember my last zoom level? Can't the pins be labeled? What about favorites?

Map is almost impossible to read because fonts are so small. Wish there was a way to enlarge them. Then it would be a five star app. Google maps on my phone looks good but not the map used in this app

Not current. Not user friendly. Need something more like Caltrans Quickmap. This app is no help at all, you have to go to the ODOT page to get any useful info... Start over.

Don't know what happened, but the map disappeared, and the cams stopped working. I uninstalled it, and am trying again.

Current information updates would be nice. People need to know what's going on within an Hour's time frame. Not previous days, weeks or even Months. So far between Oregon 511, and this app, information updates are pitifully lacking.

Whats the point when every time that you expand it big enough to see on a phone screen the map refreshes and goes back to default size? Guess I just need to chance it and fond out what the road is like when I get there

The app is ok....one big problem is it does crash a lot. When I'm able to complete my task it does help me a lot. Please fix the crashing

This app use to be a "go to" app for me. Now only the cameras are worth anything. Or at least the cameras that work. The road conditions and other alerts are weeks, months or even years out of date.

I love the way that they've made this app. It makes it a snap to look up the important road cameras and conditions quickly without having to wade through the minutiae that I don't care about. My husband is a truck driver and when he calls me in need of road conditions, I need them FAST, and I can get them faster here than on the website.

All night I was trying to find updates and couldn't. Twitter version sacked too. This one gave update for expected time. 2 more hrs yuck but at least I know now.

Should of left well enough alone. I don't get why something that's already good needed to be upgraded to something worse. Navigating the map sucks now. Instead of an area to select from, say the northeast like before, and being able to just stay in that area you now have to scroll around the whole state. It makes that app slower and it crashes more often. Go back!

Every time it updates, I lose my favorite cams. Once they're in your favorites, they should stay there. Also, I always click on the old version. The new version is terrible.

The only reason on not giving it 5 stars is because the map wording is so tiny you need a magnifying glass to read it. And when you zoom in on a point, when you let go it snaps into focus sometimes moving what your zooming in on off the page, forcing you to start over. And you can't read a thing unless you zoom in and hold it, letting go the wording snaps back to miniscule. Small complaints really, it's a great product otherwise.

Supposedly gives you all the ODOT info. It does, but adds steps and is hard to read and bulky. ODOT is clear and concise. This app just mucks things up. Just use ODOT - much simpler.

app for anyone who travels in Oregon. Especially those of us who have to do so too often in poor weather. Always up-to-date cams and ODOT reports. I'd be far worse off in its absence. Lollipop 5.0.2 and 5.0 on a Nexus 7v2 (2013) and a Moto Xv2 (2014).

They do not filter the road conditions and other information so you end up with massively out-of-date Road data do not rely on this...

How can this be useful for road condns if there are condns shown that vary from current to several yrs old? There is no warning either...you click on it, see tge condn, then read the fine print date only to see what you are reading might be 2 yrs old? Not even a safe app.

Use itfor mt. Passes during winter mostly. This version is much better than the states bookmark one. Cameras do need to be larger if possible but not as big as wdot. Thx for the app.

This new version doesn't thrill me, but pull down the menu and select "old version". Now I can see and find what I need quickly.

I drive otr and when they close down I-84 in Ontario the app will tell you they opened the road two hours after it really opened back up.

About to take a road trip to Cali and this came in handy. Some of the things hadn't been updated since the afternoon but.. still a great app for road traveling conditions.

Great app, but it doesn't tell me road conditions on where I live. Just the The Dalles and Maupin and no where in between.

Helps me to prepare for my travels by giving foresight to the conditions of the roads. Let's me see the passes to see if I will need chains. I use this all the time in bad weather.

Keeps crashing on Sam Tab 3 Otherwise use it to plan and travel. Avoid more delays.

Note: most recent reviews (2017) are negitive. App does not update to current conditions. Useless. Am uninstalling.

We used it to plan our trip home when wildfires dotted the state. Have also used it to check winter road conditions. Thanks for this app.

I work for a visitor center and this app it's a great resource for helping visitors understand what the road conditions are like before they hit the road.

Parts are easy to use but it's not up to some of the road condition warnings are over a year old not good

I use it anytime I travel in the winter over any of the passes. As well as warning my kids when they travel...

I found it originally when working at ODOT. It has improved, and I like it. You should. Too!

This would be a much better app if this was updated more. This seems to parallel 511 which sometimes isn't uodated for 8+ hours.

I use it any time I'm going on a trip. Works well on my phone!

I'm very happy with this app. Very few problems and it is very helpful when I'm out on the road.

This app is great!! It's especially helpful to truckers who have to cross cabbage multiple times a week.

Including forecast for at least a day or two would be nice and more cameras over the mountain passes!

I use the app all the time. Using all the cameras is great I'm able to see how the passes are in the winter. Using the road work tab I can see where I need to avoid, this makes life so much easier. I Love this app!!!
