QR Droid Code Scanner

I liked the design. I liked the cool features it boasted about in the description. I liked how well-rated it was and how positive the reviews were. I most definitely did NOT like trying to scan the SAME EXACT CODE forever. Either it would prompt me to put the code in view of the camera (while it's taking up most of the screen), or tell me to let the phone focus (while in focus) to then turn completely blurry, focus in and out, then finally be crystal-clear, and ask for the code to be put in view again. Ugh.

I put this head-to-head with i-nigma, and QR Droid with the zxing engine consistently performed best. Both are fine with qrcodes, but i-nigma just couldn't compete on straight barcodes. I only found one blue-tinted bar that both i-nigma and zxing couldn't read, but switching to the zapper engine worked. I also like that QR Droid tells you what kind of code you just scanned. The only dislike I have is that the interface is rather unprofessional, esp. the comic font. Otherwise this is definitely the best.

If it works great on my old Samsung Note 3, it SHOULD work on just about anything. I especially love the Settings customization though it may be a bit much for much for those who have trouble operating a parking meter. FYI, this app is free but it's worth at least $1.99 or more.

Spent over an hour trying to scan 3 Barcode. Still can't scan the last one. Seems like camera can't stay in focus for more then a few seconds on this. Don't know why but it's very frustrating. Have even printed the Barcode and it still is not scanning.

Great code scanner but if you have issues with permissions there is another version of this one that is not as permission aggressive. It is by the same authors and has almost the same functions. It works just as great as this one and the version numbers are generally matching. Can't say anything bad about this app anyway. NO STINKING ADS FLASHING IN YOUR FACE AND TOTALLY FREE. Thanks authors for a great code scanner. 5 star app..

I installed several QR code apps, but not one could both read and generate codes, you want to share a web page you are browsing with someone, write down the URL on this app and it would generate a QR code that you would share in easier way than a looong URL, this app does a great job, shortens urls...etc . I would advice you to use the QR code addon on you i ternet browser too i.e google chrome...etc

Another case of greedy developers running out of ideas. I've been using this for years, but once I wanted to use QR codes for my WiFi connections I had to decide that I'm not going to install plugins to use Android's built-in functionality.

It is the only Android app I have found that will consistently read a micro QR code! The only other app that claims to read these crashes.

This app is way too slow, it takes a good minute in between loading times. Had to revert to a previous version.

Are kids born with instructions already in their brain that tells them how to use the new fandangeled apps?? Because I find all these new words and terms that I have no freaking idea what they mean!!! And no app has an icon that says "instructions for people over 60!!!!" So NO I don't like your Damn app just yet!

like the clock widget lol what's the deal with the date format lol 2 last ones in the list am same think 1 should of been dd-mm-year , and wud like to see eg Monday 20th February 2017 thanks

The app works itself well. a small bug: when a code is scanned with flashlight on and using the Zapper engine, the flashlight icon remains highlighted after scanning the code.

A good app, although it generates an incorrect qr code if you try to enter a multiple contact vcard, it uses only the first contact name with all the numbers

For the average user who rarely used s products barcode scan. Not that intuitive to use

The best & absolutely most AMAZING scanner I've found yet by far!! & I've downloaded A LOT of different scanners, which ALL were deleted after using QR droid!!

Stopped working, now it only redirects me to a "bail 40" page telling me "the campaign is over". Uninstalled.

I can't get it to work for a Mii. I keep trying to get a Mii off a QR on a DS! Uninstalling.

Majority ENT. Supports Q.R technology. Android Q.R. scanner is a consistent tool to utilized for company growth!

I refuse to use any other Barcode Scanner except for this one
