Light My Candle (blue)

Idea
We have so much problems on earth. Our technical progress is imense, but the problems are the same as in the past. Before we discover the universe we should solve other issues: fresh water shortage, energy problems, political conflicts, climate change, refugee crisis, hunger crisis, market crisis, epidemics, terrorism, poverty, racism, wars. In my opinion these problems can only be solved by a change in awareness. So i had this project idea to make aware, where the light in our world is, and if we can spread and keep the light in the world.

In this project a burning candle stands for: love, compassion, forgiveness, peace and truth!


HowTo
You can download the app for free in Google's Play Store. After the first installation of the app on your smartphone, your candle will burn for three days. If your candle is burning you can give light to every person who has installed the app too and who's candle is not burning. Just hold your smartphones back to back together and touch the screen to flare up the other candle. After that, the candle of the person you gave it to, will burn for seven days! If your candle extincts, you can light it again the other way round from a person who's candle is burning. You can also give another person light by sending an activation code via SMS/WhatsApp/E-Mail, ... over the app menu! Every burning candle is shown as a yellow dot based on GPS information on the 2D map and the 3D Globe on the Light My Candle website (http://light-my-candle.net) and in the app! The app only works on android smartphones (> version 4.1.1) with activated GPS/Location, NFC/BEAM and enabled internet access. If you like, you can buy the ad-free blue or green version of the app for € 0,99- . In these versions the candle has a blue or a green flare which is also shown as a blue or a green dot on the map.
