Smart Level

My history with this app? First day app installed, app doesn't work (levels won't move). Second day app works perfectly. Third day app has stopped working. Fourth day levels move, but there is no way to zero it out. No matter how you adjust the phone it will not find anything close to level.

I like all the different thing you can do with this setup verses just a plain level

My preferred levelling app is actually "Compass Level" as it combines a compass and levelling tool, but I couldn't install it on my new Galaxy J7 since it lacks a magnetometer. On the lookout for an alternative, I came across Smart Level. While it lacks the ad-free awesomeness of "Spirit Level", this app's winning feature is that it can display the slope in multiple units, including percentage gradient - which is just what I need. Plus, it's well-made, looks good, and is easy to use.

A friend and I were arguing over two stacked cabinets leaning against a crooked wall. I built this wall and guaranteed it was either the floor or his eyes. BAM.... out came my phone and boom... LEVEL!!! Needless to say he shut his mouth. This is a great app and just sits there waiting for your attention, sometimes I even forget that I have it.

I give it 1 star only for the layout. Looks cool and it seems like it works. Just used it in a real world situation and it failed - not once but every time. Keep a real world level if you're in a real world project.
