지방의회는 지방자치단체의 정책을 결정하는 기능은 물론 지방자치단체를 견제하며, 부당한 처사를 감시하기 위한 통제기능을 행사하는 시민의 대표기관입니다.
안산시의회는 시민을 대변하는 대표기관으로서 지난 20여년동안 풀뿌리 민주주의 정착과 지방자치발전을 위해 많은 노력을 기울여 왔습니다.
앞으로도 시민과 더불어 함께하고 소통하며 상생하는 의회, 적극적인 의정활동을 통한 신뢰받는 의회가 되도록 최선을 다하겠습니다.
안산시의회가 민의를 수렴하는 시민의 대표기관으로서 더욱 발전하고 비상할수 있도록 많은 관심과 성원을 당부드리며 여러분의 가정에 건강과 행복이 늘 함께 하시길 기원합니다.

Honorable Ansan citizens!

The council is the ability to determine the policy of the local government and diversion, as well as the local authorities, representatives of civil authority to exercise control functions for monitoring unfair 's behavior.
Ansan City Council has made a lot of efforts to settle grassroots democracy and local self-government development over the last 20 years as a representative body to represent the citizens.
We will do our best to be a citizen with Congress and trusted by the parliament, legislative activities, to communicate positive and mutually beneficial as well.
I urge more attention and support to help further develop and Ansan City Council as a representative body of civil emergency can converge a pity you always wish you good health and happiness in your home.
