1. 다양한 모바일 기기에 최적화된 반응형 디자인
- N스크린 시대에 맞추어 스마트폰, 태블릿PC 등 화면 사이즈에 맞추어 즉각 반응하여 화면에 맞는 크기와 디자인으로 콘텐츠가 자동 조정,배치되는 반응형 웹(Responsive Web)을 적용해 다양한 모바일 기기에서 최적의 상태로 콘텐츠로 보실 수 있도록 개선되었습니다.

- 새 모바일 홈은 [뉴스/ 연예스포츠/ 비즈n라이프/ 주간경향/ 레이디경향] 총 5개의 탭으로 구성하여 경향의 모든 매체 주요 콘텐츠를 홈에서 한 눈에 볼 수 있도록 하는데에 초점을 맞췄습니다. 또한 화면을 좌우로 넘겨보는 플리킹(flicking)방식을 통해 좌우로 원하는 방향으로 넘기면서 사용자 보고싶은 탭으로 쉽고 편리하게 이동하실 수 있습니다.

3. 풍부해진 콘텐츠와 확장된 서비스
- 화보, 이슈, 연재 등 경향신문 PC사이트를 통해서만 제공돼왔던 서비스를 모바일에서도 보실 수 있도록 적용했습니다.
- 검색, 간편 로그인 기능이 추가되었습니다.

4. 뉴스알림 및 공유기능 강화
- 뉴스알림(Push Notification) 서비스를 통해 제공된 뉴스를 SNS로 바로 공유할 수 있는 기능이 추가 되었습니다.

새로운 버전의 '경향신문 모바일앱' 은 이전 앱에서 지원하던 제보하기, 스크랩 기능은 제공되지 않습니다.
: 새로운 앱으로 업데이트를 진행하시면 기존 단말기에 스크랩되어 저장된 내용은 모두 삭제가 됩니다. 스크랩한 기사 데이터가 필요하신 분들은 별도로 저장하셔야 합니다. 스크랩된 기사 본문으로 들어가 전송하기를 통해 이메일 및 각 SNS채널로 기사를 전송하여 백업 받으시길 바랍니다.
