2016년 12월 26일부터 30일까지 캘리포니아 주 애너하임에서 열린 2016년 겨울 훈련 기간 중에 전해진 에스겔서 결정 연구-1 의 열두 메시지 중, 1권에 해당하는 여섯 메시지를 담고 있습니다.
훈련 표어와 훈련 메시지 앞에 우리는 ‘일 년에 두 차례 있는 훈련 집회에 관한 교통’을 실었습니다. 이 교통은 1974년에 일 년에 두 차례의 훈련 집회를 시작하려는 결심을 이끌어 온 배경과 그 고려에 관하여, 리 형제님이 직접 전한 말씀이 일부 포함되어 있습니다. 훈련에 관한 리 형제님의 조망에 비추어 볼 때, 현재 이 훈련을 감독하는 이들은 훈련 집회의 분위기와 영을 고양시키기 위해 어떤 조치를 취해야 한다는 느낌을 받았습니다. 우리는 앞으로 이 훈련에 참석하는 것을 고려하는 모든 사람이 주님 앞에서 기도하며 이 교통을 읽고 숙고해 주기를 부탁드립니다.(미니스트리 2016년 겨울 훈련 - 에스겔서 결정-연구(1) 1권에서 발췌)

<2016년 겨울 훈련 표어>
(1) 주님을 섬기는 사람에게 가장 중요한 문제는 반드시 하나님의 이상들을 보아야 한다는 것이다. 하나님에게서 온 이상들 아래 있을 때, 우리는 하나님의 목적지를 향하게 되며, 우리의 삶은 하나님의 경륜에 따라 통제를 받는다.
(2) 하나님은 그분의 표현과 움직임과 행정을 위해 단체적인 한 실체, 곧 단체적인 그리스도로서 함께 동역할 수 있는 한 무리의 생물들을 필요로 하신다. 네 생물의 동역은 그들 자신 안에 있지 않고 하나님 안에 있으며, 신성한 능력과 신성한 힘과 신성한 은혜에 의한 것이다.
(3) 우리는 주님과의 맑은 하늘을 유지해야 한다. 즉 주님과의 투명한 교통을 가져야 한다. 우리의 영적인 체험에서 맑은 하늘 위에 있는 보좌를 갖는 것은 하나님께서 우리 그리스도인의 생활에서 가장 높고 가장 중요한 위치를 얻으시도록 허락해 드리는 것이다.
(4) 십자가에 못 박히심과 부활과 승천을 통해 주 예수님은 보좌로 이끌리셨고, 개척자이시자 선구자로서 주 예수님은 보좌에 이르는 길을 여시고, 보좌로 가는 길을 앞장서 가셨으며, 그 결과 우리는 우리를 보좌로 이끄시는 하나님의 갈망을 성취하기 위해 그 길을 따를 수 있게 되었다.
