4. 네 개가 변할 때 지괘의 아래쪽에 위치한 효로 본다.
5. 다섯 개가 변할 경우에는 지괘의 남은 효로 본다.
6. 여섯 개가 변할 때 지괘의 전체 효로 본다.
3. 본괘와 지괘을 이용해 본괘를 현재상태로 지괘를 앞으로 일어날 일로 생각하고 아래에서 찾아 보도록 한다.
