Smart Geiger

May you mind buy some mobile phones, test with the FSG-001 and list the compatible ones ? There are many clients ask for that information, Please respect us!!!

Doesn't work with Samsung A510f but it does work with Huawei Mediapad 7 Lite which is annoying since I haven't been using the huawei for some time now

Useless the thing does not count a single thing.

I have tested the ftlab geiger counter but I am not convinced that it works as it should with this programme. When the environment is noisy or even when I scratch the body of my Samsung phone, it starts counting and levels of "radiation" can be sky high. I am under impression that this is not a real geiger counter but a microphone-containing device. Would be grateful if the developers could advise, meantime 1 out of 5.

Doesn't work on my LG at all no matter what I tried. No help from the company. Avoid. Save up for a real Geiger counter.

Not working on iPad.

After I connected it nothing around the house gave readings except the refrigerator the compressor area to be specific it gave off Chernobyl like readings. Does this make sense to anybody?

Does not recognize Smartlab Geiger

Totally useless app and device and NO support from FTLABS or any of the vendors.Random readings, not even close to accurate. And, the vendor websites show a better app being used that shows immediate results, but no such app is present in the play store or online and the vendors ignore any questions asked about this lab. Worst device I have ever spent money on - just glad the worthless app is free!

Inserting the Smart Geiger seems to not switch off the phone's microphone on all phones. Therefore any sharp noise is being interpreted by the app as a radiation count. The problem is there on my S19 with Android 4.2.2 but not on my wive's Samsung S3 mini. Please fix this. I was interested in purchasing an EM meter too, but now i am sceptical... The new update made it even worse.

Wont work at all on samsung note 4 or galaxy tablet. Junk do not dload do not buy the probe.

Its working excellent in my smart Geiger

The device is a semiconductor detector, not a proper Geiger-Muller tube. Unsurprisingly, it is not very sensitive. It barely registers a Thorium gas mantle or a Radium watch dial. It takes something like a check source to make it tick reliably. It's also got a couple of minor problems: The detector can be triggered by tapping on it. The 'click' sound is way to soft to be heard even at full volume in anything but the quietest environments. Still, it works about as well as one could expect from such a tiny sensor.

Okay, but if it has measurements in mR may be better,and if alarm limit setting etc will be more better....
