유원장 앞에는 맑은 물이 흐르는 냇가가 있답니다.
이곳에는 공해도 소음도 없습니다.
봄 여름 가을 겨울 사계절을 온 몸으로 느끼며..

봄나물을 캐고 산딸기를 따고 1급수에서만 사는 물고기와 다슬기를 잡을 수 있는 곳이죠.
400여 평의 자연학습장은 아름다운 야생화와 과일나무들, 가지 채소들이 자라고 20여종 도 넘는 크고 작은 새들과 집 짐승들이 살고 있는 동물원이 있는 곳이며 우리의 아이들이 맘껏 뛸 수 있는 잔디 축구장과 실외 선택활동을 위한 목공놀이, 모래놀이, 역할놀이 영역 등등이 있는 4000평의 넓은 유원장은 전인교 육의 산실입니다.

하늘을 몽땅 가릴 것 같은 아주 아주 큰 느티나무가 여덟그루그 밑에 그루터기 야외교실과 평상이 놓여있 어 아이들이 모두 모여 야외 식사를 할 수 있는 곳이죠.
새천년을 살아가는 공주영상대학교 부설유치원의 아이들은 자연이 우리에게 주는 소중함을 알기에 나무와 꽃을 가꾸고 동물을 키우며 자연의 혜택만을 누리는 것이 아니라 더불어 살아가는 것을 경험함으로 배워갑니다.
