예수님의 몸 값으로 세우신 교회가 교회다운, 교회의 값을 다하려고 노력을 다 할 때
살아계신 하나님의 능력이 역사하시는 곳 입니다.
교회는 어둡고, 병들고, 가난한, 세상이 바라보지 않는 곳에 함께 거하며,
함께 울고 아파하며 우리 하나님의 치유하심과 만져주심을 입으로 고백하는 곳 이어야 합니다.

열린우리교회는 2009년 3월7일 6가정 18명의 성도로 첫 예배를 드렸으며,
설립부터 지금까지 노회나 타 기관의 보조를 받지않고 자립하며,
선교와 영혼 구원의 사역에 온 힘을 쏟아 온 건강한 교회입니다.

"여호와여 내가 주께 대한 소문을 듣고 놀랐나이다
여호와여 주는 주의 일을 이 수년 내에 부흥하게 하옵소서
이 수년 내에 나타내시옵소서 진노 중에라도 긍휼을 잊지 마옵소서"(합3:2)라는
하박국 선지자의 고백처럼 우리 안에, 우리 교회 안에 진정한 부흥을 꿈꾸며
같은 말,같은 마음,같은 뜻(고전1:10)으로 같은 열매를 이루어 내고 있습니다.

진수성찬의 생각보다 목을 넘기는 한술의 밥이 절실하듯,
열린우리교회는 아버지의 마음을 시원케 하는 주님의 몸 된 교회가 되도록
열심을 다하겠습니다.
