우리 화수교회는 1885년 아펜젤러 선교사의 선교 이후 정동제일교회를 모태로 배재학당 이화여대 등을 통해 근대화 교육을 선도하고, 시병원, 보구여관, 구세병원, 사회복지사업, 3.1운동, 교회일치운동, 사회참여 등을 통해 우리나라 대한민국의 근대 역사와 함께 성장해 온 건전한 신앙, 건강한 역사관을 가지고 있는 교회입니다.
