예배문화연구원

찬양과 경배 운동이 한국에서 시작된 1980년대 이후, 현재는 청소년/청년 예배가 현대적 예배스타일이 보편화 되어있는 상황입니다. 사반세기가 지난 지금 그 때의 젊은 세대가 장년으로 편입돼야 하는 상황에서 아직도 많은 지역교회의 예배는 장년세대가 익숙한 전통적 예배에 머무르고 있습니다.
찬양과 경배 스타일의 예배가 자신들의 예배문화가 되어버린 현재의 30~40대 청장년들은 이미 익숙하지 않은 전통적 예배로 들어가야 할지, 아니면 자신들에게 익숙한 현대적 예배를 갖고 있는 교회로 떠나갈지 고민에 부딪히게 되는 것이 현재의 많은 교회가 안고 있는 문제점입니다.
그러기에 지금은 장년예배가 전통적 예배의 패러다임에서 통합적, 현대적 예배의 패러다임으로 점진적 변화가 시작되어야 하는 상황으로, 이를 위해 장년예배에 포커스를 맞추어 성경을 바탕으로 하는 예배의 본질 위에 한국 교회 예배의 갱신을 위한 섬김의 역할을 감당하고자 예배문화연구원이 설립되게 되었습니다.
한국교회의 미래가 달린 예배의 갱신과 다음세대를 세우기 위한 이 사역에 많은 기도와 후원 부탁드립니다.
