시드니중앙장로교회

시드니중앙장로교회는 1981년 4월 19일 부활절 주일 창립예배를 드리며 시작되었습니다. 이후 현재까지 33년간 시드니에서 하나님의 인도하심과 은혜 속에서 하나님의 나라 확장과 세계복음화의 꿈을 품고 줄기차게 성장해왔습니다.

한세대를 보통 30년으로 잡는다면 지금 우리는 두 번째 세대가 복음의 중심이 되어 모든 민족을 향해 우리가 받은 복을 흘려보내는 교회로 쓰임받기 위해서 나아가는 발걸음을 떼었습니다. 그랜빌 교회 건축이 마무리 되는 대로 이미 시작된 다민족교회와 함께 그랜빌 시대를 시작하게 될 것입니다.

그랜빌 시대를 시작하면서 사역의 초점은 두 가지입니다.

첫째-교회안의 다음세대를 앞세워 모든 민족을 향하여 나아가는 사역
둘째-교회 밖의 담장 넘는 사역들(시니어대학,플레이그룹,열방기도센터,형제교회 분립개척)을 통해서 세계 중에 복이 되는 교회로 세워져 나갈 것입니다.


시드니 중앙장로교회는 2007년부터 셀교회로의 전환을 시작했습니다. 셀교회는 우리교회의 비전(모든 성도를 사역자로 세우는 교회)을 실현할 수 있는 가장 적합한 교회모습입니다.

우리교회의 비전은 선교입니다. 셀교회는 주님의 지상명령의 온전한 성취를 위하여 고안된 교회입니다. 우리 주님이 제자를 부르신 이유가 그들을 통해 또 다른 제자를 부르시고자 함이셨습니다.

셀교회를 통해서 마지막 때에 주님께서 오실 길을 예비하는 교회가 되겠습니다.


우리의 비전
우리는 모든 성도를 사역자로 세우며, 다음 세대와 함께 땅 끝과 종말을 향한 선교 지향적인 교회를 추구한다.
