선산읍교회는 1904년5월 15일 노상동에서 노석원 윤원옥 홍재두 천기수 한응규 노재한 성도 등 제씨 성도가 미국의 부해리 선교사와 송천교회부터 전도를 받아 믿어 오다가, 1904년 선산면 이문동 706번지의 대지 288평, 초가 5간을 노재한 성도 외 4명의 공동 명의로 매입하여 노상동 교회를 설립하였습니다.

설립 93주년을 맞이한 1997년 6월22에 현재 예배당에 입당하여 새롭게 출발 했습니다. 지금까지 20명의 목사님들이 섬겨온 선산읍 교회는 올해로 111주년이 되며, 이제 선교 2세기를 준비하는 뿌리 깊은 역사를 자랑하는 교회입니다.

또한 우리교회는 다음세대 100년을 준비하는 시대적 사명 앞에, 교회의 본질을 찾아가는 교회, 교회의 목적을 이루는 교회, 교회의 사명을 완수하는 교회를 만들어 갑니다.
이 사명 감당을 위해, “말씀대로 믿고 말씀대로 살고 말씀대로 복을 받아 사명감당하는 교회”라는 신앙지표를 세우고 교인들을 말씀으로 훈련시켜 세상에서 예수 그리스도의 제자로서 헌신케 하고자 합니다.
