세곡교회는 예장(합동)교단에 소속되어 개혁주의를 표방하는 교회입니다.
광야를 걸어가는 사람들에게 오아시스와 같은 샘물이 필요하듯이
광야 같은 세상을 살아가는 사람들에게 필요한 영적 양식인 생명의 샘물을 흘려보내는 교회입니다.
예배를 통해 하나님께 영광을 돌리고 말씀과 기도를 통하여 그리스도 예수 안에서 함께 세워져 가는 교회입니다.
사랑의 교회나, 충현교회, 열린교회와 같은 노회에 속해 있습니다.

세곡교회는 전통과 현재가 공존하는 교회입니다.
세곡교회는 1902년 피득(Albert Alxander Pieters) 선교사에 의해 세워진 역사 깊은 교회입니다.

또한 지역 개발로 인해 2013년 10월 새로운 현대식 건물로 예배당을 신축하고 입당하여
세상을 품고 가는 교회로 자리한 젊은 교회입니다.
목장을 통해 지역과 세대를 뛰어넘어 하나 됨을 경험하는 공동체이며,
특히 다음세대를 세우기 위해 많은 노력을 기울이는 공동체입니다.세곡교회는 세상을 섬기는 교회입니다.세곡동 주변의 지역사회에 많은 관심을 갖고 관공서, 복지관 등과 협력을 맺고 항상 섬길 자세를 가지고 있는 교회입니다.

바이블 아카데미와 문화 아카데미를 통해 여러 강좌를 개설하고 성도들뿐만 아니라
지역 주민들에게도 소중한 배움의 기회를 제공하고자 합니다.

또한 그리스도의 지상명령인 선교를 최우선으로 두고, 땅 끝까지 복음의 증인이 되고자 노력하고 있습니다.세곡교회는 언제나 열린 마음으로 여러분을 기다리고 있습니다.여러분들을 사랑하고 축복합니다.
