우리의 사명은 훈련과 기도를 통하여 건강한 교회를 세우고 성도들을 영적지도자로 세워 세상을 밝고 아름답게 하는 삶을 살게하며 행복한 가정을 만들고 대전 복음화와 한국 복음화와 세계선교를 감당하는 데 있습니다.
이제 또 새해의 첫걸음을 내딛는 때에, 교회가 새로운 도약의 발걸음을 더욱 견고히 하고 지난해 괄목 할만한 성장을 이루었던 전도사역과 기도사역에 더욱 힘을 쏟는다. 뿐만 아니라 평신도 지도자들을 훈련시켜 교회의 사역자로 세워 목장을 활성화시키며 미래의 교회의 일꾼들인 교회학교 교육에 온 성도들의 관심이 집중되어 교회학교가 활성화되도록 한다. 또 세계적인 일꾼을 키우는 비전을 가지고 영어예배의 활성화와 더불어 살아가는 공동체 훈련의 장인통합주일학교와 사랑부를 더욱 활성화시킨다.
