새롬교회

2014년 새해를 맞이하는 성도님의 삶과 가정에 하나님의 크신 은혜와 축복이
충만하시기를 기원합니다. 하나님께서는 35년 전에 우리 새롬교회를 세워주시고,
오늘까지 은혜 가운데 성장할 수 있도록 함께 하여 주셨습니다.
어려움 가운데 성전을 건축하게 하시고, 여러 시험도 이기게 하시고,
비록 폭발적이지 않다고 할지라도 꾸준하게 성장할 수 있도록 역사하여
주셨습니다.
그리고 그 동안 우리는 하나님의 은혜에 감사하면서 맡겨 주신 사명을
감당하기 위하여 최선의 노력을 다해 왔습니다. 그래서 선교하는 일에, 어려운 이웃을 돕는 일에 관심을 가지고 힘을 다했습니다.
그러나 우리는 여기에 만족해서는 안 되겠습니다. 하나님의 사명을 감당하는 일에는 마침이 없습니다.
우리는 생명이 다하는 그 날까지 하나님께서 주신 사명을 붙잡을 수 있어야 합니다. 올 한 해 동안 우리 모두 힘써 복음을 전함으로
교회를 성장시킬 수 있어야 하겠습니다. 그래서 더욱 능력 있게 주님의 복음을 땅 끝까지 전할 수 있어야 하겠습니다.
특별히 2014년 우리 총회의 주제는 “그리스도인, 사랑을 나누는 사람들”입니다. 우리의 이웃에게 주님의 사랑을 나타내는 일에
더욱 힘을 내어야 하겠습니다.
이를 위해 우리 모두 더욱 열심을 내십시다. 예배의 삶에 충실하고, 기도생활에 열심을 내고, 말씀에 순종하여 경건한 삶을
살아가십시다. 주님의 나라를 위하여 더욱 봉사하고 헌신하십시다. 또 무엇보다 우리 성도들끼리 서로 사랑할 수 있어야 하겠습니다.
형제자매들의 아픔을 돌아보며, 서로의 허물을 덮어주십시다. 서로 위로하고 격려하십시다. 또한 항상 부정적인 말보다는 긍정적인
을 하십시다.
그래서 올 한 해 동안 믿음을 더욱 성숙시켜 나감으로 하나님께 기쁨을 드리는 우리 모든 성도님들이 되시기를 간절히 기원합니다.
