성경에서 말하는 십자가의 사랑은 세속적인 사랑과는 차원이 다른 희생적인 사랑입니다. 희생적인 사랑은 원수 까지도 사랑할 수 있습니다.
성경적인 희생적인 사랑은 마태복음 5장의 팔복을 통해서 이루어집니다. 자신의 마음을 가난하게 만들고 애통한 사람들만이 맛볼 수 있습니다.
그리고 자기를 십자가에 못 박는 사람(갈 2:20) 들이 맛볼 수 있는 것입니다.

대덕목양교회는 이 십자가의 사랑을 깊이 체험하고 자신을 철저히 십자가에 못 박은 사람들이 모여서 이 땅에서 하나님의 나라를 실천하는 교회입니다.
