사랑하는 성도 여러분!
서양사회에서는 기독교회가 쇠퇴해 가면서
‘기독교 후기 시대’가 왔다고 말한지가 이미 오래되었습니다.
우리 한국교회에도 청소년들의 전도율과 교회 출석이 줄면서
이미 비슷한 징조들이 나타나고 있다고 보여집니다.
그러나 복음은 그 자체로 하나님의 빛이요 생명입니다.
그러므로 세상이 어두울수록 복음의 빛은 오히려 더
강렬하고 생명력이 있기 마련입니다.
거대한 물질문명의 시대에 교회가 세속화되어 신앙적으로
약화되지 않으려면 신앙의 본질에 충실해야 합니다.

우리 미광교회는 1985년에 창립되어 30년 동안 하나님의 빛과 생명을 나타내왔고
이제 새로운 영적 발돋움의 시기를 맞고 있습니다.
하나님께서는 이곳에 미광교회를 세우시고 뜻하신 목적을 이루시기 위해 우리에게 기도의 열쇠를 주셨습니다.
그 열쇠를 사용하여 천국 문을 열고 복음증거의 사명을 감당하기 위해 거룩한 전투에 헌신할 수 있기를 바랍니다.

올해는“그리스도인, 복음으로 사는 사람”이라는 표어에 따라 공예배와 기도생활에 더욱 시간을 드려
말씀과 기도로써 하나님의 전신갑주를 입고 사명을 향해 더욱 전진하고자 합니다.

먼저 구원의 감격이 살아있는 예배, 깨어 있는 기도의 헌신자가 되어 하나님의 은혜와 진리의 기쁨을 충만하게
누리시는 삶이 되기를 원합니다.
예수 그리스도의 은혜와 진리안에 거할 때 하나님께서 위대한 구속사를 이루는 일꾼으로 우리를 사용하시고
영광을 받으실 것입니다.
