런던순복음교회는 1980년도에 창림된 이후 지금까지 영국과 유럽에 십자가 복음을 전하고 있습니다. 영국은 과거에 세계에 선교사를 파송하는 선교 수출국이었지만, 지금은 선교사를 필요로 하는 선교 수입국으로 전락했습니다. 저는 여의도 순복음교회에서 대학생 사역을 중심으로 사역하다가 1997년도에 런던순복음교회에 선교사로 파송받아 성령운동과 오중복음, 삼중 축복을 기반으로 피 묻은 십자가 복음을 전해오고 있습니다.
저희 교회에는 하나님이 주신 ‘리바이벌 유럽’의 꿈이 있습니다. 사도바울을 통해 복음으로 유럽을 살리셨듯이 이 교회를 통해서 유럽을 복음으로 살릴 것이라는 꿈을 꾸고 있습니다. 개인과 교회에 복음 대신 다른 것들로 채워진 것을 몰아내고 다시 복음을 붙들고 사는 유럽으로 회복되는데 쓰임 받는 통로가 되기를 꿈꿉니다. 복음이면 충분함을 나타내기 위해서 ‘오직 성령, 오직 말씀, 오직 기도’를 교회의 영원한 표어로 삼았습니다.
이 교회를 찾는 모든 분들이 복음으로 복음 때문에 기대되는 삶으로 새로워 지시기를 소망합니다.
