주중교회 홈페이지에 오신 것을 주님의 이름으로 환영합니다.
주중교회는 1991년 12월 27일
청주시 율량동 868번지 건물 지하에서 시작되었습니다.
초대 교역자로 연제국 목사님이 부임하여 점차적으로 부흥을 거듭하던 중 2003년 6월28일 지금의 장소(율량동 275번지)로 이전하여 청주지역의 아름다운 전원교회로 성장하고 있습니다.

주중이라는 명칭은 “주님 중심”이라는 뜻으로 온 성도들이 주님을 중심으로 한마음이 되어 온전한 예배와 섬김과 봉사 그리고 주님의 뜻을 펼쳐가는 아름다운 공동체를 이루고자함입니다.

지난해 우리는 가슴벅찬 감동으로 새성전에 입당하는 기쁨을 경험했습니다.
23년의 교회 역사 속에 세 번째 성전건축을 마치고 새로운 도약의 발판을 마련했습니다.
부흥의 불길이 힘차게 타오르던 한국교회가 점점 그 불길이 약해지고 쇠퇴하는 현상이 심각해져가는 것이 현실입니다.
아무리 교회의 규모가 커지고 조건이 좋아져도 교회의 본질을 놓쳐버리면 교회의 외적인 요소들은 아무 의미가 없어지는 것입니다.
하나님께서 이 시대에 우리에게 아름다운 성전을 건축하게 하신 것은 교회가 감당해야 할 복음의 사명을 잘 감당하라고 주신 특별한 은혜입니다.
따라서 성전 건축은 완공됐으나 우리가 감당해야 할 교회의 사명을 더욱 새롭게 시작하는 출발로 보아야 합니다.
예배가 살아있고 복음의 능력이 나타나는 교회가 되어 수많은 사람들이하나님께로 나아오고 하늘의 소망과 구원의 감격을 맛볼 수 있어야 합니다.
사람들은 희망과 믿음을 갖게 되고 하나님께서는 기쁨과 영광을 받으시는 교회로 날마다 성숙해가야 합니다.
하나님께서 우리교회에 부어주신 크신 은혜와 축복이 헛되지 않도록 온 마음과 정성을 다해 주어진 사명을 감당하는데 진력해야 합니다.
교회의 사명을 감당함에 있어서 우리 모두는 동역자들입니다.
서로 은사가 다르고 성품이 다르고 직분이 다르지만 모두가 주님의 일을 하는 데는 마음이 하나 되어야 합니다.
협력과 배려로, 겸손과 감사함으로 함께 맡겨진 일들을 힘써 감당해갈 때 하나님께서 우리를 도구로 삼아 다시한번 부흥이 일어나는 재도약의 한해가 될 것입니다.
