우리교회는 김일규 원로목사님이 1979년에 개척하여 “전도와 봉사”, “교육과 장학”, “봉사와 복지”라는 교회 목표를 삼고 지금까지 은혜로 달려왔습니다. 이제 “주님이 원하시는 바로 그 교회”의 비전으로 영광스런 새로운 사역의 항해를 시작하게 되었습니다.

주님이 원하시는 바로 그 교회 의 핵심은 한 영혼을 소중히 여기시는 주님의 마음을 잊지 않는 것입니다. 시간이 흘러도 본질을 놓치지 않는 교회, 역사가 깊어져도 본질이 변하지 않는 교회, 주님이 이 땅에 다시 오시는 날까지 주의 심장이 살아 숨쉬는 교회가 되길 소망합니다.

시작은 미약하지만 시작보다 끝이 더 좋은 인생, 끝이 더 좋은 목회자, 끝이 더 좋은 교회가 되기 위한 몸부림을 중단 하지 않을 것입니다. 더욱 구체적인 비전들을 성도들과 함께 세워가게 될 것입니다. 진흥교회 모든 성도님들, 그리고 저희 교회 홈페이지를 방문해 주신 모든 분들과 함께 주님이 원하시는 바로 그 교회 를 만들어가기를 소망합니다.
