우리 동두천 교회는 이 지역의 장자 교회로,
올해 108주년을 맞았습니다. 하나님께서 지금까지 지켜주고,
인도해주신 증거라고 생각합니다.

데살로니가 교회는 믿음의 역사와 사랑의 수고와 소망의 인내가 있는
교회로 모든 초대교회의 모범이 되었던 교회입니다.

저는 우리 동두천 교회가 역사만 오래되고,
성도들의 숫자만 많은 교회가 아니라,
먼저는 하나님께로부터,
그리고 모든 교회와 성도들, 뭇사람들로부터
칭찬 받고, 존경받는 교회로 세워져 나아갈 수 있기를 바랍니다.
또, 그것이 우리 동두천 교회가 이 땅에 세워진 사명이라 믿습니다.
