1. 당진교회의 존재 목적
교회의 존재목적은 분명합니다. 예수님안에서 복음의 능력을 경험하고 다른 이들에게 그 복음을 전하며
그들을 구원의 길로 초대하여 하나님 나라를 확장하는데 있습니다. 가장 바람직한 교회는 목적에 의해 움직이는
교회입니다. 그 목적이란 바로 주님이 교회에 주신 사명 곧 비전입니다. 교회의 사명은 땅 끝까지 복음을
전하는 일과 그리스도의 제자를 세우는 일입니다. 이 사명이 우리교회가 존재하는 이유이며 목표이고 내용입니다.
그 외의 모든 것은 수단입니다.
수단과 목적이 혼돈되지 않을때 변질되지 않은 건강한 교회로 세울수 있습니다. 우리의 행복과 다른 사람의
행복으로 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 교회입니다.
