아현감리교회

아현교회는 미국 감리교 선교사로 파송된 스크랜튼 선교사가 하나님의 인도하심을 따라 서대문 밖 마포로 내려가는 사거리 애오개에 시약소를 개설하고, 1888년 12월 12일 첫 예배를 드림으로 시작되었습니다. 스크랜튼 선교사는 믿음과 행함이 일치된 인격자로서 그리스도의 사랑을 헌신적으로 실천함으로 성공적인 선교 사역을 감당하였습니다.
