목회
목회란 하나님에 의한 것이며 동시에 사람에 관한 것입니다. 목회는 하나님 아버지의 사랑과 은혜와 목적이 아들이신 예수 그리스도의 화목 제물을 통해 사람들이 하나님과의 관계를 회복하는 것에 있으며 , 목회는 그 믿음의 사람들이 모인 교회가 하나님의 사랑과 은혜를 경험하며 예수 그리스도의 가르침을 성령님의 인도하심을 통해 이해하고 전할 수 있게끔 인도하고 가르치는 것입니다. 목회는 그리스도인과 교회가 올바로 하나님의 말씀, 특히 예수님이 말씀하신제자를 만드는 목적과 (마 28:18-20) 그리스도적 실천을 성령님을 통하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 드리도록 겸손히 그리스도인과 교회를 인도하는 것입니다. (롬16:6; 고전 6:20,10:31).
목회의 목적과 사역의 중심은 1) 말씀 2) 가르침 3) 교제 4) 전도 5) 헌신 (행 2:42-47; 살 5:16; 고전 11:17-34; 딛 2:1; 히 10:25; 딤후4:5; 엡 4:12) 으로써 결코 변하거나 흔들리지 않으나 목회와 사역의 방법은 시대적 반영을 통하여 변화를 주어야 한다고 믿습니다.

사역
하나님의 은혜로 말미암아 그분 이 주신 은혜의 선물로 믿음의 사람들을 말씀으로 가르치고 단련하고 훈련하여 주님을 따르는 그리스도인으로 온전하게 이끌어 하나님께 모든 영광을 드려야 합니다.
“그러므로 우리는 어디를 가든지 어느 누구에게나 그리스도를 전파합니다. 우리가 할 수 있는 대로 힘껏 사람들을 가르치고 바른 길로 인도하는 것은 모든 사람이 그리스도 안에서 성숙한자로 하나님 앞에 서게 되기 원하기 때문입니다” 골 1:28

설교
저는 그리스도인들에게 하나님의 말씀을 정확히 강해설교를 통하여 전달하여야 한다고 믿습니다. 주제설교의 중요성 또한 교회 상황에 따른 필요함을 인식하고 있으되 성경의 모든 말씀을 흔들림이나 시대적 철학적인 관점이 아닌 성경을 근거로한 역사적 신학적 관점에서 설교를 해야한다고 믿습니다.
“모든 성경 말씀은 하나님께서 감동을 주셔서 기록되었기 때문에 진리를 가르쳐 주며, 삶 가운데 무엇이 잘못되었는지 알게 해줍니다. 또한 그 잘못을 바르게 잡아 주고 의롭게 사는 법을 가르쳐 줍니다. 말씀을 통해 하나님을 바르게 섬기는 자로 준비하게 되고, 모든 좋은 일을 할 수 있는 사람으로 자라게 됩니다."
(딤후 3:16-17)

교육
미국에서 고등학교, 대학교, 그리고 신학 대학원 Dallas Theological Seminary 에서 공부하였습니다.
