Headset Indicator

My phone jack is broken so I never know if I had my head plugs in. This helped me a lot. Thanks for the great app.

You need to enable it before every time you plug in a headphone jack.

The app works well, as advertised, and doesn't require any unnecessary permissions, such as location, unlike a lot of similar applications.

Nothing happens

When headphones are plugged in my LG G3, the phone would see it as a headset. So when you're listening to music or a podcast and move the plug, it would skip around or stop like you're pushing buttons. The way around this problem is to keep unplugging and plugging back until it registers as headphones and not a headset. Great app, thanks a bunch.

Thanks for this app! I dropped my phone (HTC G2, Android 4.04) and the sound quit working. I wanted to see if I'd damaged the hardware, and sure enough, this app tells me the phone now thinks there's a headset plugged in (there isn't). If this happened to you too, try a headset-disabling app or widget to get your sound back -- it worked for me.
