1.New / Updated Moto devices may not be supported
Moto disallows lock screen in their OS updates, so it would not work on moto devices after updates and new device like Droid 3. I have reported it to moto, but they did not agree to fix!
2. For device running Android 4.X, sometimes flashing (screen on then off again) may happen, try to enable 'Force Lock' in Lock Screen Settings to fix it.
3.It has been tested to work on Galaxy Nexus and Android Simulators (2.2,2.3, 4.0.2, 4.0.4, 4.1, 4.2 & 4.3)
However, the dev cannot guarantee that it could run / uninstall on all devices [coz I don't have all the devices].
If you encounter problem with you device, feel free to drop me an email!
### How to uninstall? ###

Locking Screen in Android requires the user of device administration function, you must deactivate device administration *BEFORE* uninstall to avoid error!
To do this:
•Go to "Lock Screen Settings" (in launcher) -> "Remove Device Administrator"

Alternatively, you may do it via
•Go to Settings -> Location & security (or Security) -> Select device administrators -> Uncheck this app.
After that, uninstall it in Play Store, in case of error during uninstall in Play Store, do it at Settings->Apps->Lock Screen-->Uninstall
[To use other hardware keys to unlock your device, try 'Widget Locker' / 'No Lock' app (not developed by me)]

The force lock option saved my phone. I was not able to use my phone because it would not lock causing the phone to constantly stay on. Seems to be clashing with some other software and my tablet's battery gets drained through a wakelock. With all these android issues, do I need to turn to apple??

And I even have linked to it thru another app, so can tap a graphic on my screen and it works everytime. (I use Minmalistic Text and No Friils Calendar for that.) This is a great app. Give it a try! With my other Android that has physical buttons and I fear that I will break them, I use this lock button app a lot and no problems whatsoever. Unfortunately on my other Android my lg it locks the screen but leaves the back light on.

I have been using this for over an year. This is the only one that I found usable with Xiaomi phones. It worked wonders with my old Redmi 1s. And it continues to work well with my new Redmi Note 3 too. Bless you.

I've had this app for ages (since before Kit Kat and now on Marshmallow) and love it--it does exactly what it says it will do. Simple and awesome! Don't need it anymore as I can double-tap the screen to lock the phone, but thank you for many years of awesomeness!

Lightweight and does what it says. Needed for every Android device. Save a few clicks on that power button. Unfortunately, the android m policies ignore fingerprint unlock if such apps are used to lock the screen. no fault of the app, but I can't use it anymore.

People dont give bad rating, because you have no idea how to uninstall the app. Read description 1st it is well explained, even because of you dev put this ugly second icon to help you uninstall and still say that you cant. I dont want to offend you, but be more careful and read something, anything... Uncheck app from device administrators and then use uninstall button!!!

Hopefuly every apps in google playstore should be made this way the app that had optionally to auto-kill itself after screen-Off to save battery and memory from unnecessary excessive Ram and battery overconsumption. I like the complete manual guide in app description page.unfortunately the setting options is too little ,cannot customize the icon size,shape and transparency scale.4++★!
