As the other reviews say, it needs the 5,4,1,go times that most of us use and also a few other alternatives as not everyone uses the standard countdown. Not sure I would want the phone in my dinghy but race officer duty might see it pressed into use alongside the big yellow Optimum Time monster.

I agree, no use to racers. No 5 min sequences. I ve been using start aid instead.

Useless for sailboat regattas.

I use it every Wednesday where we start at a specific time and it works great. However I have just upgraded to a G3 and I can't get into the menu, please update app, thank you.
