Places of Interest

A geospatial enabled app that displays places of interest (poi) near a users' location. This App can work from any location in the world.

Key functionality includes:-

1) Explore nearby places of interest (cached for 30 days)
2) Set favourite places of interest
3) Notifications when near favourite places (geofence monitoring)
4) Further notifications if carrying an android wear device (tbd)
5) Key information displayed - type of place, rating, price level, description, telephone etc.
6) Search for nearby places by type
7) Distances and directions from users' location to nearby places
8) Integration with Google maps
9) Integration with Google navigation
10) Integration with Google Places API
11) Spatial enabled queries
