Artist's Eye Free for Android
Can't believe you put the ad in , IN , the workspace and make it very distracting . Dont care what program does , that's just bad.
This has helped a lot!
This app is offensive to all the 'real' artists who work hard everyday to create something beautiful while this app does it in a crappy way. Picking up a page and a pencil and looking at Mark Crilly's drawing videos is better then this.
This app is great for drawing (tracing a photo). But it is not far from being great for painting too (copying colors). It lacks a feature that lets you slide in/out the camera... see Tim's Vermeer to understand what I'm saying. This feature would let you have half the screen transparent (camera) and half the screen using thr photo refetence (or 1/3 camera and 2/3 reference, etc)
Needs a lock feature so that you can zoom into your photo but not move the image! I know other digital lucida apps have this feature.
The Nexus 5x has strange hardware orientation for the camera. Because of this, the image coming from the camera is upside down. Fix this and I'll 5*.
This app is a good one and except for the ads covering some of the screen, you can get a good start on the drawing. As long as your setup is stable, this is a good help in drawings. I think ads are OK for the freebies but they should be placed out of the way for this one. The price for the ad free one is worth it so I'm gonna get it.
Owner of apps have to work on the ad thats overlap the object. other than that we as consumers have to keep practising the drawing
Nice app but adverts overlap the drawing area
This has helped a lot!
Great app
This has helped a lot!
If I could get the option to rotate the image
Good 4 tracing
This has helped a lot!
I wanted a projector but this is perfect!
I'm using this to help me with drawing images onto some cookies with icing. It's perfect since I can't draw well. ^_^
Samsung tab 4 ...it won't work why?
I downloaded this app well over a month or two ago and I'm impressed but the BIG advertising banner blocks part of the drawing area and it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. My drawing looks stupid and by the way, I can draw. I'll keep it for now and work with it some more, who knows I may just collage everything together and create a beautiful abstract piece!
Such a brilliant tool
Useless
Average app could be made better if i t worked properly with an hdmi cable.
Fantastic app!!!
V good
Useless.
Dont install this.
The adverts on the free version are a nuisance - but eh it's only 1 euro for the paid version so not exactly a bank breaker. Not convinced yet - needs a bit more work to bring it any where near the standard of Camera Lucida on the iPad/iPhone. By the way if you know what this app is for ignore the negative feedback - I think most of them is from people who don't know how to use it.
I was looking for an app to use in place of a projector so I could transfer images on cakes and cookies for decorating. This idea takes a little getting used to at first but once I got the hang of it it was wonderful.

Best app for artists on the go, no need for a lightbox.

It wont down load
this is rubbish it hardly ever opens and when it does it is rubbish

I love this app weary much
Everytime I chose a picture it said it had force closed. It also accesed all my photos without the permission button.
Works nicely. Would be nice if the photo taken would stay on the screen, maybe until some button is pressed. For comparing without keeping phone in position..
Great work. For all who are showing so much hatred towards this app, you are completely missing the point. There are millions of people out there who are not willing to put pencil to paper as they are afraid of drawing. This makes things so much easier, and helps people see for themselves, what they can do if they put some effort. Also, use of apps such as this will give more confidence in the strokes, develop a steady hand, and make even a novice more adept at drawing.
as it stands, the app loads up every single icon, snapshot and ebook cover on my tablet but will not find the pictures I have imported to work with.. it has a lot of promise but it will remain totally useless until it allows me to navigate to a specific folder of images and lets me chose from there If this could be fixed, please... ? The camera lucida app for ipads seems to offer all the features I might need; I was hoping this might be a comparable solution for android. Please continue developing ing it
