The LG Esteem is currently the best phone available from MetroPCS at the time of this writing. However, it may seem snappy at first but it's performance rapidly goes to hell after a few installations of apps and using it for a few days even after the OTA update (MS910ZVB).
After 2 weeks i'd had enough. They symptoms were extreme lag, stutters, short battery life, long delays on keypresses. I spent days debugging and getting to the bottom of all the issues in linux and put them all together in this one app for you.

-Added a network section, it has a shortcut to update your PRL. This updates the phone's internal tower list and can greatly help some people with bad coverage/signal. I noticed some people were resorting to flashing with 3rd party tools, downloading prl files etc... this isn't actually necessary.

Q)If I factory reset will I loose all my stuff?
You will loose: apps, settings
you will keep: sd card contents like pictures and music
Note:
go on a pc, log into gmail,
make sure phone contacts are there so you don't loose them.
Some people don't know they sync with gmail if set up properly so
they come back when you re-add your gmail account after reset.
Q) Can I use titanium backup?
A) If you want to use titanium backup to backup/restore:
click remove bloatware in my app first. clear any backups,
then backup the apps you want. (so you don't restore bloatware later)
Q)I see "wait" or "force close" when i click a button
A)You probably see this a lot, my program fixes many of those.
However your phone is probably already going slow at this point,
just reboot and then try it out. if you see the "wait" button, hit that.
It takes a minute or 2 to remove the apps. I may add a progress indicated in a future version.

I highly recommend this apparently to anyone. Please make sure your phone is rooted first like the developer says and my God if its extremely fast. My phone out the box was never this fast. And to think I was actually considering that little connect thingy. Sorry......love my Esteem good work.

I really don't notice much of a difference after installing this. My phone was sucking so factory reset it, then rooted it and deleted some bloat myself. I then installed this app after a few days and set it to the max on everything that should help and nothing really changed. The only thing none stock about my phone other than it being rooted and debloated is that I use adw launcher ex.

I've never rooted a phone before but after trying to figure out why the LG Esteem was soooo laggy and unresponsive most of the time I went searching for a fix. The fix was to root it and thanks to one click root and the info provided at androidforums, it was just that easy. Next thing I had to find was a simple way to remove all the bloatware. I went back over to androidforums and I came across a post for this little gem. Sure, there were free ways to do it posted there too, but not having a clue on what I was doing, I decided 2.99 was a small price to pay for peace of mind. Installed and cleaned in a few minutes and I even optimized it per what most people were liking on the forum (battery-chuck norris/memory-48) and its fast. I mean...IT'S...FAST! The lag...gone. The Metro garbage...gone. I can't wait to see battery performance over the next couple days, but if its anything like the people over at the forums are experiencing, I'm gonna be more than happy with the results. I don't spend a lot of time reviewing and commenting on apps, but this one is a MUST HAVE for anyone using the Esteem. The Developer is experienced and on top of keeping things updated and people happy.

Been using this on my rooted 1.7GHz overclocked LG Esteem for a couple weeks now, and its absolutely amazing. Super fast! 2722 on Quadrant, 4262 on AnTuTu (with class 10 memory card write/read speeds)

Nothing really changed except the fact that my music album art library got reset, my settings were reset, and I can't get a refund. Don't install, it's not worth the headache, let alone $4.

This app does what it says. I also use 2x battery and a bloatware remover in conjunction for a great phone setup. This app removes some bloatware but not all of it. But I say this app is very worth the money.

This app has really made a difference on how my cellphone performs and boots up. So far only issues encountered is with the Bluetooth enhancement producing errors when trying to send files over another device.

But i took a chance and bought this one. It increased my battery life and slightly sped up my phone. To me, its worth the few dollars for the extra battery life alone. Works great with a task killer. My battery symbol is still in the green by the end of the day. Thank you Chuck Norris!

My phone isnt even rooted yet.(I've been afraid-very afraid) but my son is a software designer so hopefully he will do this for me. Good: speeds up, a little. Saves battery, better then most apps ive tried. Bad: Boot logo doesnt speed up reboot, just shows a black screen & takes same amount of time. The Swap file option doesnt seem to work. On reboot it doesnt seem to make a difference. Overall i like this app. Fix up those minor problems and maybe see about some more options and Ill gove 5 stars

The swap memory options help quite a bit, but I contact disable it completely, it just re-enables itself. Ill look into why swap refuses to go away and E-mail you what I know. That's basically my only problem. Everything is so much smoother. Thank you.

I've owned the LG Esteem for four months, and it has been TORTUROUS how slow and laggy the thing was, after one week and loading some light apps. SO! I rooted my phone, installed this app, and BAM, I finally feel like I have the phone I paid for. Thank you SO MUCH for making this. Simple and effective. I can't say better things about this!

I want a refund. This app boggled down the speed Of my phone, would make my photo gallery crash, did not see any improvement in battery life, had some features in the app that were not functional, thus, useless.

Bloatware removal is great, Bluetooth enhancements are good, but i notice no difference in my battery life nor my performance speed. Also, when i apply the setting to "remove the start animation" it does, but it just removes the animation, not the time it takes to start up, thus leaving a blank screen for 2 minutes... If it makes a difference, i have MetroPCS. Decent app.

On ZVB with the one click root, no custom ROM or kernel, I was able to get a full day's use (12 hours) on a single battery charge. That alone made the app worth every penny. The fact that I have more available ram and that the phone is faster and more responsive is just icing on the cake. Was so impressed that I rooted my wife's phone and bought this app for her as well. She got the same results. Very satisfied! Thanks for such a great app!
