About Gas Tank Fill Up
The "Gas Tank Fill Up" app was created for a school project.
Consumers take a few different approaches when it comes time to fill up the gas tank:
- Swipe their card at the pump & press the gas lever until the display of gallons on the gas pump maxes out.
- Leave a large currency denomination with the cashier; retrieving the change after the gas tank has topped off.
- Pre-pay the cashier to avoid an arbitrary bank account hold if their card is used as as "credit" at the pump.
Gas Tank Fill Up was designed to help users who want to know how much it will cost to fill up their gas tank ahead of time.
This first edition requires the user to know the size of the vehicle's gas tank as well as the gas price. The user would then moves the gauge needle to match the position of the gas gauge needle in your vehicle.

There has been a lot of activity with credit card skimmers at gas pumps in our town. The boss won't let us pay the pump anymore, so I can use this app to help me determine how much to prepay the clerk. It's exactly what I was looking for to help me avoid doing a lot of math.
