Garbage! No instructions on how to use it; though I did figure it out. It couldn't even read a simple 200 RPM drill press spindle. I got an error message when I pressed 'calibrate' and the message was in Portuguese. If you don't hold your finger just right when you press the lower buttons, you'll get the blasted ad being displayed at the time. How hard can it be to write a simple RPM counter? If I knew how to program Android phones I'd write my own; but I don't need that distraction from other projects.

No abusive permissions. It works as described. I don't know about its accuracy but it gives you strobe lights in different ranges. The SOS function is useful; it would be nice if it was a widget.

I have to first press the flash button then wait for the LED to come on solid before pressing the green dot or it doesn't work.

I would like to see an option to flash the screen (and select the color(s) too!) instead of the camera flash, but it is a good app.

Tried to measure turntable speed with 60hz. Wasn't possible since no constant 60hz pulses. Not sure if app or phone is the problem. . Edit : after dev replied I tried again. Still no constant 60hz flashes. I assume it is the phone.

Works well enough once controls figured out to set my 78 rpm phonograph with a test against actual stroboscope was spot on. Much better than using an old style table lamp bulb for 60Hz. Tested on a Samsung galaxy grand prime. Only down side is screen controls are touchy.
