I also support shared from the browser.
If you wanna open Local HTML file,
1. Open from another file explorer app.
2. Input file path as "file:///path/path/path.html". (Caution: "/" Slash is not two but three.)

Tried some other, this was the only which could download pages with request URI. Don't like ads. What about a share function and probably a choose for user agent (instead of Firefox OS)?

I cannot get the program to open a local html file With the html viewer installed. I installed another html viewer app. Still would not work and nowhere to select the app With which to open file. Recently installed html viewer is not on list. Why does it not just open html files in the browser Window?

It did not work for me on my Galaxy Note II. "Web page not found" and "check data connection". Chrome and Firefox pulled up my website without problem. Uninstalled.
