Rotation Control Pro for Android
Doesn't work properly on youtube.
Done what it is.
Kinda works.... But the only reason a person needs this on a later handset is for the reverse portrait option. Unfortunately I can do this manually from notification tray but the auto portrait doesn't work. I know it can be done because Ultimate Rotation Control does it so looks like I'm going to have to buy that.
Ultimate Rotation Control stopped working on my Galaxy Note 4. This app is a nice replacement with a bit more of a modern UI. If you are looking for per app control and to force different orientations on the fly this works well. Tried the trial version first.
Can force apps to rotate which don't, and can let you set on a per-app basis whether that app is always portrait, always landscape, or rotates. You can also switch this temporarily from the pulldown. Works wonderfully, absolutely worth.
This has been a life saver since certain apps stopped rotating. I'd like to be able to switch been landscape and landscape (reverse) using the notification instead of needing to go in to the app to do it. Other than that really great app.
Needs to have a DARK/BLACK theme for the notification shade. I HATE the ugly white. I have ALL dark themes on my phone. The white is a huge eye sore.
This can not rotate my screen in mode rotate portrait reverse. When i try on trial app (not pro version), rotate portrait reverse can run functionally, but when i purchase pro version, this pro version can not do that.. any bugs here???
On the positive side: This app asks for no permissions at all, which is trustworthy. And I definitely like the notification access and the fact that I can enable/disable it. BUT(!), there a few big issues with this app: 1. The user can't choose which icons appear on the notification (and there is NO "portrait reverse" icon). 2. My device doesn't natively have the "portrait reverse"(google calls it 270°) by default within the system, but it DOES work when I manually set the mode to "portrait reverse". So what's my issue with this, you ask? Well, when I set the rotation in this app to "automatic", it does the same as "unspecified". It doesn't allow for the "portrait reverse" mode to automatically appear when I rotate my screen upside-down. 3. Same goes for "portrait (sensor)"... It does the same as "portrait" (not reversed). I would expect "portrait (sensor)" to do either "portrait" (0°) or "portrait reverse" (270°) depending on my screen orientation, but it doesn't. The only reason I want this app is so that I can have full automatic rotation to all directions. And my device (OnePlus 5) obviously supports that since it CAN do 270° rotation when on the "portrait reverse" setting... So issues 2&3 render this app useless for my use case. 4. The app itself doesn't spread across the screen on landscape mode. It's not a big deal, but for a rotation app it's a bit strange-looking.
Works great except for my alarm clock app (Alarm Clock Extreme). The alarm goes off and wakes my phone up without unlocking the phone; it seems this app fails to lock rotation when the device is still locked. As soon as I unlock the phone, rotation control is restored. This would be solved with "root" functionality other apps like Ultimate Rotation Control (from which I switched out of boredom, and to which I will be switching back) utilize.
Yup, starting with 8.0 - same here. After enabling the "Per App" auto rotate for YouTube, it doesn't full screen the video when turning the phone sideways - it still shows the Status & Navigation Bar... had to uninstall. One of my FAVORITE apps while it lasted, hope this gets fixed somehow.
The two modes, which are not in device by default, Portrait reverse and Portrait sensor didn't work with this app too. The options are available but don't work.
Works beautifully but takes up so much RAM! 130Mb, literally the most RAM hungry app on my phone. Uninstalled, but with regret.
At first I thought I don't need it. .....even blooming instagram works in landscape now on my g tab s ! ....awesome !
It's an app that does what it says it can force alternative apps and your home screen to rotate minimal permissions unless you go into automatic rotations per app however reverse portrait 180 degrees or however you term it does not work
Seems to work except for one major issue, the entire reason I installed it; for automatic detection of reverse portrait. This app doesn't do that despite having a portrait sensor option.
I like that it can force apps to rotate. And the per app rotation commands
It needs the ability to auto rotate then plugged into an mhl adapter and it's also slow when auto rotating when set to rotate on charger connection
Okay app but a bit pricey as it still interferes with other apps that have their own rotation control just like free rotation apps interfere, nice UI but could do with a theme settings as it's so pricey, one of the most stable working rotation apps that's why I downloaded and paid for it, but I haven't tried all the rotation apps on Playstore, it also needs a bit of work like I mentioned above to be worth near to it's price.
It's really annoying because when I try to change the direction to automatic from the notification, it doesn't let me.
I can't select Samsung video player app in the "Per app" section so i have to watch all my videos in portrait mode. Fix it and i will give it 5 stars
Stable. Does what it claims to do. I use this for specific apps. Don't like the graphics, or lack of them, but it does do what I want it to do. Thanks.
Regular problems with camera app and video playback in various apps.
Was just thinking about this the other day, and here it is :] thank you
Great app, even works on android TV and boxes, worked perfectly where other apps failed
My Nexus 5x lost auto rotation. This app allows me to set rotation per app. Lover it
Doesn't work with my launcher - the launcher disappears, it doesn't "rotate"
Sometimes a bit buggy. Loses lock. But still the best rotation lock available. Hands down.
I love this application because it forces apps to rotate even if it does not include the feature.❤❤❤❤
I used to love this app, but now that I've upgraded to an s8+ some functions don't work correctly.
Very handy to have when you want some but not all apps forced into an orientation. Thank you for the app sale.
Finaly an app that actually works as advertised. Good job guys.
Very well done app. Especially like the per app control.
Some apps I really wanted to rotate can be done with app especially on my tablet.
It works, I used this to control individual Apps
On of the best rotation control on notification bar
turns screen upside down while charging
Won't auto start on boot.
Always use in many apps on my Note 4. Good app. Tks!
