Pretty useless in truth, no support, no apps. Why not just allow mirroring of screen?

Keyboard install changes my main keyboard grrrrrrrrr. Also no apps to choose from other than wase.

Very good. Can't understand some of the reviews, especially as my phone isn't even listed as compatible and using a slimport adapter workaround. If the stereo has been installed correctly and you aren't using cheap ebay cables, the app functionality is impressive. Only downside is they don't have a huge list of compatible apps

Horrible app. Hardly any compatible apps. Very displeased. Update your application to allow for youtube and netflix along with the basic features to include Pandora or bluetooth radio to be played in the background. This is ridiculous. If not for allowing Waze, I'd call it useless.

Terrible. Wish I hadn't bothered buying the Pioneer head unit. General interface isnt suited to in car use, and phone integration is a bit of a half hearted bolt on rather than the key selling point I thought it was!

The app only worked well with my ipod touch but that was pointless as you need network to use any of the apps used for driving. The display to via HDMI was so sensitive on my HTC M8 I never used it. Bluetooth works well and is the best option for any device. Sucks you can't use the navigation.

This is the Worst. I've​ downloaded everything and it just bounces all over the place asking me to do this, download that, which I do. I keep getting messages saying to confirm I have downloaded the App Radio, the keyboard​, etc. "I have" I go to set up an account and out of nowhere it said redirects me away and "Waze" opens on my phone but not on my Radio Screen. It is just so bad. I have followed all of the steps and it just can't seem to stay on the current task. No wonder it has such Lousy reviews. I have to say that I love Pioneer Car Radios "I Always have" and that works just fine for me connected to Bluetooth. I have the AVH-3800BHS, I had the 290BT which was half of the price but for what I need and what the functionalities are side by side on these two models I spent extra money and the rest of the stuff on the 3800bhs is useless because this App Just "Straight Out"(SUCKS)

Cannot make this work with Android 4.4 on Galaxy S 3. Pioneer tech support was useless. The app functionality of this radio is just hype, don't count on it.

Using it on a Galaxy S7 it's pretty useless is Canada. The only compatible apps for it are Navmii USA or AppRadio live. It constantly closes itself and restarts it self when I try to have my phone plugged in to charge it while playing music through Bluetooth, I've tried every setting I could and nothing seems to work properly. Very disappointed since this was one selling feature over other touchscreen units for my truck. If nothing else pioneer I'll give it 5 stars if you update it so at the very least I can charge my phone without it interrupting my Bluetooth music !!!

Well... I could not get the app to connect with my LG V20. I even bought the appradio wire kit with no luck. So I call Pioneer support for help and they told me to purchase a" miracast device" so the LG V20 would connect to the Pioneer App radio4, and still no connections via WIFI or WIFI Direct. There are Bluetooth functions, but just no appradio functions available Get pretty feed up with manufacturers that only cater to Apple products. I just threw 7 hundred dollars down the drain... what a waist of time and money!

Pointless. Cant use Google maps for navigation which is the only reason why you would bother using this app in the first place.

Well after so many tries I finally got it working as stupid as it was it was my charging wire so dosent matter how expensive the wire is just has to be the right one

Often fails to connect. Has now deleted all Bluetooth options on the head unit. Hugely disappointed with Pioneer avh3800dab. I'm returning the head unit for a refund. IMO if you have android, avoid it.

Still garbage. Not even a feature in my book, the apps are so terrible the radio might as well not even have it

Good app for waze being compatable but dash radio doesnt always work on here and hasnt lately and their keyboard's aggressive auto correct should be off.

One cannot customize equalizers when using the music option. This app does not also use the personalized pre-set settings for the sound output. I hope the developer will consider this in updating the app.

This used to work ok, but now with the last update, it changed the screen size while using the Waze app and now it cuts off the right side of the screen.

Bad app. Shouldn't have to install all the 3rd party apps to use in this app and no help for android user like other readers say.

Connect is all this app does. Zero usefulness. Constant crashing. Pioneer, stick to what you do best. Leave the apps to the likes of Google and Apple please. For the sake of all your customers.

Wanted to use GPS function but too buggy. Often drops connection with Galaxy 7 Edge. Bought Garmin GPS after spending day trying to get it to work. At least I can use AVH x390BS radio. Uninstalled

Won't work on my AVIC X940 BT. Won't show up on my screen at all in car. It's says it's compatible. Please tell me how to fix.

Very old interfaces and not support for all Android. My Huawei p9 can't hear sound when streaming. And work very slowly. Need to update applications now for comfortable and stable please.

Very Very limited for Android users. I'm forced to use an unsupported Waze application, Cant use Google Navigate. This app is slow and clunky. Very poor development. Very disappointed. The selection of apps for this is very small. In my opinion, this hurts the Pioneer corporation as it shows that they are not improving their software and really don't care about their customers. Complete garnage.
