Start-up Navi for Android
So darn confusing. I actually gave up and returned the WiFi receiver for a simpler one because of this whole thing.
I am hating every thing about the pioneer elite reciver including this app. Its the most confusing ever.
Takes some tweaking to get network communication working, worth the effort. App is stable on the Note 4.
By far the worst app ever. So pathetic. I wasted so much time trying to configure and reconfigure several times. The receiver is connected to the wifi but the app just won't recognizing it. What a huge waste of time and huge exercise in frustration. I may just return the whole thing. This is Pioneer? Wow.
This app fails to setup an sc-91 receiver using multiple android devices.
Flat out doesn't work for network setup
Crashes throughout setup
After an hour of restarting and installation it says "Cannot connect to the product" Now what?
Doesn't work at all over wireless, even told it the exact ip address of my av receiver which is connected with full signal and it couldn't find it, disappointing to say the least. 1 star is too many
I've confirmed my receiver is on the network, and the app finds the receiver after a while, but trying to control it is just not working.
First, the app wouldn't start and would just spin forever. I've been trying to connect my receiver for the past hour and the app just can't find the product on the network, even when I supply the IP address directly. This has been a terrible experience so far.
Wi-fi won't connect and receiver can't recognize my nexus 5
Non-responsive. Would not connect wirelessly. Had to restart setup repeatedly due to lockups.
Keeps crashing every minute. I only gave it 2 stars because it did help me setup my network but after that it was worthless.
This app is absolutely useless bearly works properly and on top of that after the multiple times of trying to get this to work I finally connected and it the app reset screw this garbage
Fails to connect to the receiver.
Will NOT allow to connect to the Network. Have followed the instructions to the letter. Have even used the Lan option, attempted to connect multiple times over several days. Have called the phone number on the instructions pamphlet, be prepared with a pen, you will need to call a different number. Waited with an annoying, repeating jingle, (I kid you not) for 37 minutes! A very disinterested person with a frustratingly low voice finally answered, could NOT help me & said someone would call me back. Waiting
Unclear, slow and doesn't explain anything well.
This app worked great for me...Just had to learn a little bit about the receiver but totally worth it
Found my AVR right away and was connected to my home network as soon as I gave permission.

I can see why some people are so frustrated. That being said, once I reset my wireless router and followed the instructions to set the WAC, it's working really well with the AV5 software. You need both apps.
