NHK WORLD RADIO JAPAN

Installed hoping to listen to the whole "Easy Japanese" podcast, but could only find one on the list, and no way to search for the rest. Seems like you can only listen to that day's podcast. And like other reviewers mentioned, no way to listen to other news on Japanese. Not useful.

Why can't you listen to Japanese news in Japanese?? Wanted to use this as a learning tool. Uninstalling.

This is a poorly implemented application in a dire need of update. Also, we get the idea that you want to reach the international users but when will you realise that a lot of us want you to include a Japanese section and this shouldn't be a problem for you at all?

For other reviewers not familiar with NHK, this app is from their "world service" - it's not a surprise that Japanese isn't included. If you want native Japanese radio, tune in directly with a 3rd party app.

Every language except Japanese. That's okay though, it's still a good app. I'm just uninstalling for that reason to find another radio app in Japanese.

No Japanese language -_-.

Can navigate well, see what's coming on, set alarms, etc... but, when I select a broadcast (live or clip), I get a "Cannot load audio data" error. Please fix.

I unable to listen audio on this new version kindly repair its problem. It shows unable to load audio.

The app name says: radio Japan, but the app doesn't have japanese language! Is this a joke or have I missed something.

Best app for following events in Japan. Very smooth and always work perfectly. Simply love it !

An easy-to-use application without much features does what it is made for. It works perfect on my phone (android) and my 128kbps connection no interruption whatsoever. Neither when listening to a clip nor live broadcast. The sliding map itself is gorgeous. You can easily figure out which program or language is being aired. You could switch to other applications and at the same time listen to the radio. In live form screen turns off and saves energy which is excellent. So many languages which is fun. Thanks

Works fine for me! (some complained that this would not work at all) But... I cannot listen to Japanese langauge programmes? Where's the fun in that? NHK programs are of high quality and generally very interesting and it would be wonderful to be able to hear the same content twice; once in your preferred language and once in Japanese (if the user so wishes) for language practise. - If such idea is not considered desireable, then I would suggest that this would be incorporated into the other NHK World app that deals with videos. For mere few radio broadcasts daily, a whole separate app seems unnecessary...

Stopped unexpectedly crash on splash screen at startup on Gingerbread 2,3,6.

latest update doesn't work. app worked fine before i updated it. already tried uninstalling-and-reinstalling it. still doesn't work.
